I wanted to mention an outstanding resource on the web. Zhubert, now called The Resurgence Greek Project is like having a powerful piece of Bible language software free on the web. He has laid out the entire new testament in greek with lots of nice roll over functions including individual word parsing, literal translation, etc. The site also allows you to chart various words, tenses, etc. by book and chapter of the Bible. You can do a search through the NT as well as view several different ancient manuscripts. You can also personalize some things. This is a must see website for anyone studying the New Testament in any kind of depth. You do need some background in languages to fully use this site.
Thank you Zac Hubert for such an outstanding website. We are indebted to you!
I just blogged about redeeming the ill-fated Re:Greek Open Source project as part of the new Open Scriptures initiative: https://openscriptures.org/2009/03/redeeming-the-ill-fated-regreek-project-a-call-for-participation/
Very interesting site. I look forward to hearing more about this. Maybe they could have something like an online translation committee made up of reputable folks all working on the text (university professors, etc).
