Terry Rush has an excellent piece on how to have appropriate boundaries in ministry. Boundaries is/are one of the most important parts of ministry. Not only is it a word that is difficult to figure out the subject/verb agreement on when writing or speaking about it, without it/them paradoxically we can become self-obsessed (thinking we can fix everything if it just gets enough of our time and attention) and yet powerless (because you get spread so thin you do little of it well any more).
