I am going to the home of a lady from church today. Her son has lymphoma, hemophilia, and HIV. He is only 30 years old. He is not a Christian. He is not doing well. They are needing some repair work on their home and some work to make it more wheelchair accessible. Please pray that as we are in their home he will see Jesus in us. Pray that he will turn his life over to God and become a Christian. Thank you,
Matt

I know that woman’s heart must be breaking! I will keep her and her son in my prayers as well as you as you minister to them.
Matt, years ago one of our members asked if I would go visit her cousin. He was a female impersonator (Diana Ross) and had contracted AIDS through his lifestyle. He went before his congregation and repented of his sins and they accepted him back. By the time I visited him he was going down fairly fast. We struck up a friendship and I visited a good bit for several months before he past away. I was asked by his family to officiate at his funeral. I know how tough your visit will be today – I still remember mine. I pray that God will bless you with compassion and a good strong shining light. God bless.
God bless you Matt … this is where your heart will matter most … and Jesus will be both present and within.
Thank you Tammy, Bob, and John. I just posted an update and I really cherish your prayers. You spoil me. God bless,
Matt
Matt,
Does your church have elders?
I was wondering if you and elders would be willing to go over and pray over the young man even though he is not a Christian. I know that even when I was in the hospital recovering God used me to minister to those who were faced with surgery who weren’t Christians. I remember I went in one room of a man that I developed a friendship with over the month I was in physical therapy with and prayed over him. It was defantely a blessing to him and his family as he was having major surgery.
Yes. I know as you work and serve building the ramp and fixing the house their will be time for him to see Christ in you and the church. But, what a difference it would make if you asked him if you and elder could pray over him.
Please pray for a miracle healing for Janet Griffin. She is dying of cancer.
Thank You!
Psalms 19:14
14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Thank you!!!!!!
Preacherman,
Sorry I missed that comment. Yes we do have elders. I think that is a great idea once we feel he is opening up more to it.
Gloria,
Thank you for feeling free to post that here. It is always welcome. It is what we are here for. God bless you. I am praying for Janet.
