    I’m doing some work on spiritual formation (Christian formation specifically) and found Eugene Peterson’s Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places to be a great semi-technical theological inquiry into the nature of spiritual formation. (I also this it is too wordy!)

    That’s a good list so far. I’ve found A. W. Tozer’s “The Pursuit of God” to be spiritually forming in my walk. I’ve also found that biographies, such as “Delighted by God” (about George Muller), really spurred me on to spiritual growth.
