I got an email today from the American Family Association saying that the Army had blocked the Southern Baptist Convention website calling it, “just another example of the Christian faith coming under attack in the military.” I hate to say it but I think being attacked by the US military would look considerably different than blocking a website. When talking about guys with tanks and bombs there might be better words to use than “hostile” and “attack”. What is more, with so many in the SBC being Calvinists, why fight God’s sovereignty on this?
AFA updated this today saying they goofed (well, that is kind of what they say)

Nobody throws hissy fits like Southern Baptists throw hissy fits.

Well put.
The matter was remedied. It had to do with malware attached to the website.
