We talk a lot about first century Christianity and imitating it in Churches of Christ. It is interesting that we don’t talk about location or size even though there are examples of where they met. It is not that I am trying to make a rule out of that, just that it is interesting it never came up when many other examples were brought up as to why we should do things a certain way and that in those instances, it mattered a great deal we got it right!
Have you ever wondered how large early congregations were? I have wondered this for some time and I would hear numbers used here and there but never looked it up.
So I looked it up and presented what I found in this video. I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Do you have a copy of today’s house sized church teaching? I would love to have a printed copy where I can go back and then watch the video and jot notes next to things you were reading off of. That would be so helpful to really digest all of that and maybe read more some of those authors you’re referring to. If you don’t mind, David .
