Here is a nice little summary statement that I came up with in trying to wrap my tiny brain around post-modernism:
Modern – want to know it is right before they can feel a part of it.
Post-modern – want to feel a part before they can know it is right.
Any thoughts?

Maybe a slight amendment:
Modern – want to know it is right before they can feel a part of it.
Post-modern – want to know its “good” before they care about being a part of it…want to feel like they are part before they care if it is right.

I still have my doubts about whether this nebulous “post-modern” thing really exists. I know, I know…we have to be able to communicate. I just don’t know if the post-modern explanation for how people in the West think is really accurate.
Pretty good, but giving a definition to post-modernism isnt very post-modern of you, lol.
Stanley Grenz wrote a good primer on post-modernism. Just a suggestion.
