The harvest is plentiful…it doesn’t always seem like it is. We get discouraged. We think “why try?” No one is interested or else they would already have come to faith.
But God said the harvest is plentiful…that harvest size is a non-issue. The issue is what he says next, “The workers are few.”
We need more workers.
How do you get more workers? He answers that next, prayer – “Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers into His harvest field.”
This is God’s field – the whole earth is His. Every human in it is His. The harvest is His.
We get to choose whether or not we will be one who raises our hand and goes out! People are seeking…and we can’t wait on them to find us. That’s why Jesus said, “Go and make disciples” in Matthew 28!
