You remind me of the two golfers. One asked the other, “Have I shown you my pictures of my grandchildren?” The other replied, “No, and I sure do appreciate it!”
It’s a thing of beauty to see a father thrilled by his son’s infant smile. I remember when my first granddaughter was born. I know she smiled soon after birth. It was not just a grimace. I could see it in her eyes. My buttons were popping off with pride in her – and still are (and she’ll be 20 next week).
