I just added William Meisheid to the blogroll on the right. He has some really good insights not to mention the fact that his name breaks the “i before e” rule TWICE! Anyone who can do all of that is alright in my book.

Brevard Childs dies at 83

Now for a serious obituary. Thanks to Scot McKnight for pointing this out. Childs wrote many good books on Theology and was best known for his canoncial approach which held a tremendous respect for the integrity of the biblical text. For more on this story see here.
