The Master Plan of Evangelism by Robert Coleman is foundational for anyone wanting to make disciples. Coleman realized that Jesus’ disciple-making ministry was far more than his teaching. He had a practice of making disciples that is readily discernible and one that we can (and should) imitate. This means we need to pay attention to the black letters in addition to the red letters.
Jesus did more than teach. He was a model, an example of kingdom living. And he purposefully modeled a way of life for his disciples that they were able to pass on to the next generation…to the next generation…etc. The question is, will we pass this on to the next generation or not?
