We typically count two things in church – attendance and contribution. That’s okay. That probably should be done. But there is so much more we need to pay attention to and there is nothing like counting things to give accountability to what is going on.
Some things we cannot quantify. They are qualitative things. But many things we can put our finger out. We might resist out of fear (what if the minister doesn’t come out looking good) but it is essential we look at far more than attendance and contribution.
This video gives suggestions on other things to measure and by measuring these things we can make much needed adjustments in light of what we prioritize. What we prioritize must come out of a biblical value system.
