With all the discussion of who does and doesn’t “go to church anymore”, I think it is vitally important that we go back to scripture and get a really good picture of what church is and isn’t…what it is and isn’t about. I am going to do a series of posts on “church” based on what the Bible actually says about it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this extremely important topic.

I think what church is supposed to be is a group of followers of Christ Who come together to encourage and help each other, learn about and worship God. Not just how this can be accomplished will take many more words.
I think church is not supposed to be a place where questions are not permitted, opinions are disregarded, and doubters are chastised.
