The Lord is my shepherd;

I love it that the Hebrew and Greek both say “The LORD shepherds me” instead of “The LORD is my shepherd.” Cannot beat those actiive transitive verbs!
You said that was a Jewish translation? By altering that last verse from “…and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever” to “…many long years” it obscures the linkage between the 22nd and the 24th Psalm. That is a very important section applicable to the person and divinity of Christ.
I like this English gloss. I haven’t looked at the JPS translation very much, but I think I’ll want to in the future. Thanks for sharing
All the rabbis I know use the kjv for the 23rd.
