Last night we worshiped God and sang about outreach. Then we got to writing. We are starting with a list of 500+ names and addresses in the neighborhood of our building. We spent time praying for them and writing notes of encouragement for each one. Young and old and everywhere in between came and wrote letters to let our neighbors know we care for them and are praying for them. You never know what kind of response these types of efforts will have but at least our neighbors know we exist and we care. I have no idea what all the letters say. I don’t know what people will think when they read them but only God can work through these situations in the amazing way he does. So we will send them and get ready to harvest anyone who comes our way as a result.
How many times do we just talk application and how many times do we make plans and do?
