After a great Bible class, wonderful singing and a powerful sermon on involvement, we finished up with 3 baptisms and a “dinner on the grounds.” I feel very encouraged this afternoon. The only dark cloud over the horizon is that Missy and Jonah have gone to Gainesville for a couple of days to visit family and friends and I am left at the house to get done the projects that cannot easily be done with a 6 month old in the house.
Sounds like Terry Rush also had an encouraging Sunday.
What has encouraged you about this Sunday?

Potluck Sunday here – that’s always a good day!
We had a great Sunday too. Our Lord’s Supper presider had people from the audience sharing ways they’ve seen God work in their lives the past week. We don’t normally have much audience participation other than singing. The community feel of that was just fabulous. And then we had a potluck too, honoring our graduates. Our minister noted that we had more graduates from our campus group this year than all the campus students they had when he first moved here, 8 years ago. Our campus group is growing!
