In dedication to the 8.8.08 Olympics this post marks the 800th here at Kingdom Living. I cannot wait to see the opening ceremony and especially the track and field competition. When I ran track in college my goal was always to beat the Olympic women’s times. I almost always did…for whatever that is worth.

Matt, a dear USA friend (https://motorcyclegrandmalinda.wordpress.com/) sent me Pray for China prayer wrist bands from Voice of the Martyrs. I wasn’t able to get them here in Australia. Praying that the Olympics will be an opportunity for Christianity in China.
My daughter studies Mandarin at school. We are celebrating the Opening Ceremony tonight by having a Chinese meal. I am off to consult my cook books! (just realised I will have some great blogging opportunities!)
