Our church softball team just snagged our second championship in a row. Our 10-1 season ties our church record and continues our 4-0 streak in softball playoff games over the last 37 seasons. In the last 5 games of the season we outscored our opponents 52 to 5. That is just crazy in slow pitch softball. I must say, I get a lot of credit for this victory as the right field sub. I played 3 innings, went 2 for 2 (2 singles) with an RBI and had a single hit to me in right. That basically means I touched the ball one time and could hit a cantaloupe sized ball coming in at 10 miles an hour. Other than that, I pretty much dominated the entire game 🙂 In case you can’t pick me out, I am the last guy to the right in the back row with the glove in my hand. In case you are wondering, everyone else on our team is well over 7 feet tall 🙂
