I think we need to change our coins to read “In Got We Trust” to better reflect the mindset of the populace. In all seriousness, it is sad to look around and see people who try to fill themselves up all day with things other than God and walk away feeling empty.

A very concise and true post. Did something in particular hit you that made you write it?
I have just been thinking a lot about Christ/Culture: their interaction, their discrepancies, etc. A little Neibuhr, a little Bonhoeffer, and a little Houston Heflin. Good company…well at least the second two 🙂
As Joyce Meyer said, “there is a God-shaped hole in everyone”. This post is very true!
What is even more pitiful is the fact that many ‘Christians’ are doing the same thing. Running here and there- church hopping, lookin for the next feel-good.
