In Got We Trust

I think we need to change our coins to read “In Got We Trust” to better reflect the mindset of the populace.  In all seriousness, it is sad to look around and see people who try to fill themselves up all day with things other than God and walk away feeling empty.

  1. I have just been thinking a lot about Christ/Culture: their interaction, their discrepancies, etc. A little Neibuhr, a little Bonhoeffer, and a little Houston Heflin. Good company…well at least the second two 🙂

  2. What is even more pitiful is the fact that many ‘Christians’ are doing the same thing. Running here and there- church hopping, lookin for the next feel-good.

Also, thanks for visiting my blog. I accidentally deleted your comment and wanted you know it.

  3. Thanks for stopping by Justin and cala. I would have to agree with Joyce on that one except hopefully Christians no longer have that hole any more.

    Cala, no problem at all.

  4. Here is a quote from Pascal that is similar to what Joyce Meyer said and is much earlier:

“There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.” – Blaise Pascal in the 17th century
