Easter in Pandemic

I am more hopeful about the church coming out of pandemic than I was going into it. Maybe you are too.

God always brings life from death.

Jesus once said that “unless a seed falls to the ground and dies it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.”

We are in challenging times. The seed has been dropped to the ground and some things have to die for the church to truly live. Pandemic is not the cause but the catalyst.

It is the resurrection of Jesus that gives me so much hope. Jesus’ resurrection demonstrates God’s track record of dealing with things even greater than what we are going through and His track record is stellar.

Easter in pandemic – a reminder that God takes broken things, worn out things, messed up things, and makes them into something beautiful. He did it with Galilean fishermen and he will do it again in our day.

So let us worship the resurrected Lord and recognize that the same power that rose him from the grave is now at work in us! (Eph 1:20).

God bless you and have a wonderful Easter. Thank you for reading. Thank you for watching the videos. Thank you for commenting. You are a blessing to me!
