What Motivates Your Ministry?

Helped by this? Tell a Friend! ---->

There are a lot of reasons people decide to go into ministry for either a church or a para-church organization. It may be that they just love God and can’t think of anything better to do with their life than minister full time. It may be because of guilt or maybe because you feel called by God to it or because you have a desire to serve others.

The reason why we get into ministry is important but it is not as important as what keeps us in ministry. What motivates your ministry? Is that motivation healthy? Do you do it because the pay is steady? Do you do it because you have a passion for God and His church? What motivates your ministry? It is important that you answer that question because that answer to that question will have a big impact on how healthy you are as a minister and how healthy your actual ministry really is.
