  1. Thanks for this list. I’ve just started teaching a class on reading the bible (a little different from studying the bible). I’m using several from your list already; the one’s that interest me the most right now are the conversational ones you’ve listed. Wright’s “The Last Word” is good.

    Maybe you could blog about your efforts. That would be really helpful as more and more we are going to need to help people become biblicaly literate.
