  1. well it looks like i at least have some stuff in the long tail, like Joshua 7, Judges 11, 1 Samuel 12, Leviticus 21, etc. i’m not a total crowd following loser 😉 all that work in the NT is not a loser thing though…
i did take offense though at a comment, on the “most blogged passages” entry, of too little blogging on the Bible Jesus read. i consider the whole book the Bible Jesus wrote. the OT is full of types and shadows. the NT is clear. it’s low hanging fruit. for those of us with day jobs and without MDiv degrees, why shouldn’t we write up stuff from the easy parts. they are still the correct parts. i enjoy the interconnectedness of the Bible. it has one author. and i’m sure he is honored by all the work by amateur bloggers in the NT as well as the feeble attempts by amateurs like me in the OT.

  2. I am a little surprised at some of these – cities of refuge, Ishbosheth, Joash repairs the temple, Solomon builds the temple, etc. What is most surprising are not the very least blogged about because it is pretty obvious why but are those extremely significant passages that don’t make it anywhere near the top that I mentioned in the first post. More on those later.
